Selena Gomez is now a ready-to-wear designer for Coach. The fashion house and Gomez just announced their upcoming fall 2018 Selena Gomez x Coach collaboration, which will include outerwear, clothes, handbags, small leather goods and other accessories, per Coach's press release. "Fam, my second collection for @coach is going to include clothes!" Gomez wrote herself on Instagram last night, stressing the RTW part of the news. "So grateful I got to work on this with @stuartvevers. Can’t wait to show you this fall."
Gomez is creating the pieces with the house's creative director, Stuart Vevers, and has incorporated her own personal style into the pieces. Each item "is imbued with unique touches that speak to Ms. Gomez’s unapologetically confident and powerful feminine spirit," Coach wrote in it press release.
What that translates to, from the first preview of the line teased in Gomez's Insta, is lace and pastels. Pretty!
Gomez previously created accessories for the line, including its Selena Grace handbag that Gomez herself carried frequently throughout the fall.
“I always look forward to designing with Selena because she has a strong point of view,” Vevers said. “We wanted to bring cool new ideas to the table and I loved getting her take on clothes as much as accessories this time around.”
At least one notable someone is excited about the line: Pattie Mallette, Justin Bieber's mother, both commented and liked Gomez's announcement post. While Gomez and Bieber are reportedly on a (very temporary) break right now, Us Weekly stressed in a new report that Bieber's family loves Gomez. Clearly :
